​Implementation of a Virtual Reality (VR) psychoeducational intervention programme aimed at reducing aggressive behaviours of inmates with a history of reactive aggression, regardless of the type of crime committed

​Development of a blended learning (B-learning) training programme utilising both  a VR programme and an e-learning course to equip frontline prison staff with effective skills and competencies to manage reactive aggressive behaviours in inmates

​Successful deployment of the intervention course for inmates, accompanied by comprehensive training for prison educators and prison psychologists from the partner countries to facilitate the programme

​Training of more than 80 prison officers from the partner countries using the VR programme and training course

​Successful engagement of over 80 inmates with a history of reactive aggressive behaviours, utilising the VR-enhanced psychoeducational intervention programme to address and reduce their aggression

​Training of more than 40 prison educators or prison psychologists from the partner countries to effectively deliver the VR-enhanced psychoeducational intervention programme

​The VR4REACT project outcomes will contribute to safer prison environments and communities by reducing aggressive behaviours among inmates with a history of reactive aggression

Additionally, the training provided to prison staff will enhance their ability to handle and manage such behaviours, leading to improved rehabilitation outcomes and overall well-being for all people living and working in prison (inmates and staff)
