4th Consortium Meeting:

​➡️ The VR4React project is making strides towards tackling reactive aggression through innovative Virtual Reality interventions. On the 14th October 2024, the consortium met online to discuss the latest advancements in the project, in particular:

📈 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗥 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: We reviewed the progress of VR scenarios that help inmates manage reactive aggression and practice prosocial skills in a secure, immersive environment.

👩‍🏫 𝗘-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀: Final refinements were made on the VR-enhanced e-learning course designed to equip prison officers with the tools they need to handle and prevent aggressive behaviour.

🔧 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸: Arrangements were completed for next week’s training summit in Ankara, Turkey, involving prison directors, prison workers, case managers, probation officers, and trainers from 8 countries.
